Travelling with your dog

Posted on: Tuesday 13th of August 2019

Motorhome holidays are a great opportunity for you to go away with your dog(s), but as with small children, you’ll need to remember to bring a few things to ensure that their time away is as comfortable and stress free as possible.

Here’s a handy checklist of essential items to take with you:

Doggy essentials

Food, bottled water, and treats
Their favourite toys/ball and plenty of poo bags!
Ground tether or stake (don’t forget your mallet)
Bed (take a plastic sheet if you have a fabric bed, to put underneath so it doesn’t get wet on the ground)
Safety harness (if you’d prefer to keep them secure in transit)
First Aid kit (copy of your dog’s veterinary records)
