Motorhome Hire UK
Booking a motorhome from LandCruise Motorhome Hire couldn’t be easier. Simply check availability, select your favourite from the available options, and book.
Once the booking is confirmed there are a number of things we will need from you in order to get you insured on the motorhome and your hire agreement drawn up.
So, in the interests of honesty and transparency we have laid out every stage of the process from initial booking right through to the return of the motorhome.

Pay the £250 deposit and start planning your holiday
Once your have booked you will receive an email confirming your vehicle choice, dates selected, hire charges and the documentation we require.

Accept T&C's | You will need to login to our customer portal, using your email address and 6-digit reference number. Once in you will be asked to read and accept our Terms & Conditions. |
Please contact us immediately if: | Your driving licence does not feature your current address. |
You do not have any of the listed proof of address (below) in the same address as your driving licence. | |
You have more than 3 points on your driving licence | |
You have had more than one motoring accident in the last 3 years | |
You have a medical condition that has to be declared to the DVLA |

Send us a copy of your driving licence | We require a copy of the driving licence for each driver. You can scan it or take a photo on your phone. Please make sure it is of adequate resolution so that all information can be read. |

DVLA Code | Since the paper counterpart to the photocard driving licence was abolished in 2015 all your driving history is now stored on the DVLA database. You will need to share this information with us by generating a DVLA code. Follow the link, enter your details, and send us the case sensitive code. https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence |
your name, address matching that on the licence, and be dated within 90 days of departure.
You will receive an email containing important information about your hire such as, the layout and model of motorhome you’ve booked, your pick-up and return times, as well as a link to all the How-To instructional videos specific to your motorhome.
We urge you to watch them in advance as it will save you time and hassle when out and about. We also supply the videos on a USB stick, that will be attached to your vehicle keys, that can be plugged in to the TV for a reminder as and when you need them.

Arrival | Come to the office about 10 minutes before your specified handover time, where you will need to sign your hire agreement and pay any outstanding balance. You will then be directed to your motorhome |
Handover | A member of staff will do a quick damage check of the vehicle with you and answer any questions, before showing you where to park your car (if you've decided to leave it with us) once you have finished loading all your belongings |
Before returning your motorhome/campervan to us we ask that the following items have been addressed:
Clean throughout | Ensure that the motorhome has been cleaned inside and any washing-up done |
Dispose of any rubbish | Please dispose of your rubbish before returning to LandCruise, otherwise you will have to take it home with you |
Empty the toilet cassette | Empty and rinse out the toilet waste cassette, leaving completely empty. A £75 charge will be incurred if this is not done. |
Empty the waste water | Empty the grey waste water tank before returning to us |
Fill up with Diesel | The vehicle will have been full on collection, and we ask that you return it full. There are a number of garages local to us, located on the A27. Fuel shortages will be charged for. |
Be back on time | Please ensure that you make suitable arrangements to return the vehicle to us no later than the specified return time as stated on your hire agreement (usually 10am), to avoid a Late Return Charge of £100 per hour. |
Return to the workshop | Return the motorhome to the workshop where you collected the vehicle from. A member of the team will be waiting for you, and direct you where to park. |
Remove all belongingd | Double check every cupboard, locker and garage area, as we can no longer keep lost property. You will have to collect or arrange a courier should any valuables be left, at your own cost. |
Final checks | Once you have finished unloading, a member of the team will go through their checks which you will then be asked to sign off on. |
Our Current Cancellation Policy is: Deposit and future balance payment are non-refundable, but we are currently taking bookings on a transferable (if necessary due to Covid-19 lockdown in England) basis.
If you hire for an event and the event is cancelled or postponed, I am afraid we cannot offer a refund or be able to transfer your hire to another date.
