There are a number of factors that can affect the cost of a motorhome or campervan hire. Such as:
We do a minimum 4 night hire (outside peak times) which comes with a mileage restriction of 500 miles. Any hires of a week or more comes with an Unlimited mileage allowance.
Average costs for 7 nights:
We are flexible about collection days. It’s your holiday so we’ll work with you. Please let us know when you wish to go, as long as it fits in with other hires, you should be able to collect your motorhome at a time that suits you. LandCruise is open most bank holidays.
Standard collection times are 14:00 for two-week hires and 15:00 for one-week hires.
All motorhomes need to be back by 10:00am so that we can clean, service and repair the motorhome as necessary before the next hire goes out that afternoon.
Yes.
We have a dedicated dog-friendly fleet of motorhomes and campervans.
There is a £10 daily charge for taking dogs.
We don’t recommend taking more than two dogs with you.
All booking payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We recommend that you take out your own cancellation insurance.

All of our vehicles are under 3500 kgs, so will only require a standard Category B licence to drive.

You can park your car within our secure compound (which is locked outside opening hours) for the entire duration of the hire period, free of charge.
Car is left at owner's risk.
In-depth instructional How-To videos and a written manual are provided with all vehicles. Please refer to these before calling the helpline.
You can have a maximum of 3 drivers per rental.
All additional drivers will have to provide us with the relevant documents such as copy of their driving licence, 2x proofs of address and a DVLA code.
2nd driver insurance costs £7 per day (with a clean UK licence)
Surcharges will be added for any points on your licence.
For insurance purposes, the driver must be between 25 and 75 years old during the hire period and have held a full driving licence for at least 3 years.
Anyone aged between 23-24 and 76-79 can be insured at an additional cost and increased insurance excess.
You will need to call the office to book if you fall outside of the 25-75 age range.
CDW reduces the standard insurance excess for any damage caused in a collision to either the Vehicle or third party property from £1000 down to zero.
The Customer will however be fully liable for replacement or repair or damage caused due to negligence.
CDW is completely optional and can be decided upon collection of your Vehicle. After the Hire has commenced, CDW insurance cannot be taken out.
In order to be able to insure you to drive one of our vehicles we will need the following documents:

You can take your motorhome/campervan abroad into Europe.
An additional charge from £110.00 to £450.00 is required to cover European Insurance and European Roadside Assistance. Price varies depending on which country you intend to visit.
Taking one of our vehicles into Europe without telling us first and securing the additional European Insurance will make you in breach of our terms and conditions and therefore not Insured.
We will supply you with a warning triangle, spare bulbs kit, headlamp deflectors and fluorescent safety vests free of charge.

Security Bond payments upon collection of a vehicle must be made with a debit/credit chip & pin card.

As we edge our way back to something resembling normality many people will be looking to enjoy their summer holidays in and around the UK, in particular, camping holidays.
As self-isolating holidays go, most campsites were already well set up with safe distancing between pitches. Communal areas such as toilet and shower blocks will have new measures in place to reduce numbers at any one time, but even that shouldn’t be a concern as you will be completely self-sufficient with all the washing and cooking facilities you need within your motorhome.
