LandCruise Motorhome Hire owns the largest selection of motorhome / campervan rental vehicles on the South Coast. We hire out motorhomes & campervans for holidays, festivals, and sports events throughout the UK.

We are now looking at expanding our operational staff in the workshop in Oving near Chichester and have the following vacancies:

Senior Technician

We are interested in hearing from experienced Motorhome Technicians to expand our operational staff

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the workshop team to maintain and prepare the LandCruise fleet for hire
Service and repair our hire fleet and customers’ motorhomes, caravans & campervans
Help hirers out on the road with technical issues.
Annual habitation checks and servicing
Damp repairs
Electrical diagnosis and repairs
Gas Repairs and installation
12v and 240 volt repairs and installation
Heating system diagnosis and repairs
Woodwork – Internal repairs

Required Skills:

High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Gas and/or electrical qualifications would be of advantage
Be able to work Saturdays and bank holidays when required (due to the nature of the tourism industry). You will be required to work five days per week. Open 6 days a week between April and October. Saturdays are covered on a rotational basis.

Workshop Assistant Technician

We are interested in hearing from those who have a background in vehicle maintenance or an interest in motorhomes and campervans and would like to get into this growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out complete checks on our motorhome and campervan fleet pre-hire.
Help the Technicians service and repair our hire fleet and customers’ campervans and motorhomes.
Annual habitation checks and servicing.
Help hirers out on the road with technical issues.
Drive vehicles for deliveries, collections, servicing, and repairs etc.

Required Skills:

Keenness to learn.
High standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
Full driving licence and your own transport as we are based in a rural location on the outskirts of Chichester.
Be able to work Saturdays and bank holidays when required (due to the nature of the tourism industry). You will be required to work five days per week. Open 6 days a week between April and October. Saturdays are covered on a rotational basis.
