We have been using Landcruise for around 9 years now for The Festival of Speed at Goodwood in West Sussex (5 nights hire). We have tried approximately 6 different styles/types of Motorhome (2,4,6 Birth) as we like to use the types of homes that have 2 fixed singles in them (we don't like to faff about converting seating areas etc) and every year we book a motorhome, the staff have been nothing but incredibly helpful, very knowledgeable of the pro's and con's for each Motorhome we ask about and talk us through the best one's that would suit our requirements. The interior is always very clean and tidy, the beds/mattresses are very comfy (especially in our most recent hire the Swift Escape Compct 502) and the provisions inside are second to none. We will always use Landcruise, the staff are amazing, there's minimal paperwork to complete and the hand overs are always quick, smooth and easy. The prices are pretty good too. I cannot recommend Landcruise enough.

We've just completed our second motorhome hire from LandCruise and it's been another fantastic experience. From beginning to end the LandCruise team have been friendly, professional and extremely helpful throughout the booking, collection and return process. The motorhomes we've had have been up to date models, spotlessly clean with everything in full working order. We can't fault their service and we plan to book with them again soon.
I booked a motorhome for a week. The experience was fantastic from the website, which was easy and clear, no hidden extras, I got the exact configuration I was after and the validation and booking experience was easy. The motorhome was great quality, clean(spotless), and getting to the pickup/drop off location was simple. The instructions were well written and easy to follow along with easy to follow video instructions and everything worked. This was my first motorhome experience and I would use these guys again without any doubt. Super professional and friendly staff were really helpful.

Great company, great service, it will be our 2nd booking with LandCruise and I am verry happy, Our first booking was in beginning of February and we had a new 2023 Auto Trail F-Line 74 motorhome. With Maidstone being a town that is known for its agriculture, it’s no surprise the residents love exploring in fully-equipped campervans when they have the chance! Why not start your trip by spending the exploring Leeds Castle where you can learn about Maidstone’s rich history and you may even see a bird of prey display!
Hiring a VW campervan is a great way to explore areas further afield from Maidstone (the town has great motorway links for getting further north and even hopping across into mainland Europe) and with an excellently located pickup and drop off for those in the town, you’ll spend more time exploring and less time travelling.

Maidstone is a town located in the county of Kent in southern England that offers a variety of attractions for a motorhome or campervan holiday. There are several excellent campsites in the surrounding area that offer great facilities and easy access to the town.
Key attractions in Maidstone include the historic Leeds Castle, which is set in stunning parkland and offers a variety of activities and events throughout the year, and the beautiful Mote Park, which is perfect for picnics and outdoor activities! Maidstone is also located close to the stunning Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling.
Those in Maidstone can hire a LandCruise motorhome for as long as they like – if you are thinking of hiring one for more than two weeks, discounts and special offers are also available.
In July and August, we have a minimum hire period of 7 days.
We are flexible about collection days. After all, it’s your holiday so we’ll work with you. Please let us know when you wish to go, as long as it fits in with other hires, you should be able to collect your motorhome at a time that suits you. LandCruise is open most bank holidays and standard collection times are 14:00 for two-week hires and 15:00 for one-week hires. All motorhomes need to be back by 10:00 so that we can clean, service and repair the motorhome as necessary before the next hire goes out that afternoon.
Free on-site parking at the owner’s risk is available for the duration of the hire period, so for those travelling from Maidstone down M25 the A23, it’s a great option.
