Collision Damage Waiver

When you hire from us you receive fully comprehensive insurance cover, which includes an insurance excess of £1000. You have the option to reduce this excess down to £0 if you decide to take out our Collision Damage Waiver, at an additional cost of £18.00 per day of hire (£90 minimum/£252 maximum).

Taking out CDW, will also reduce your Security Bond (a pre-authorization that puts a hold on money in your account) from £1000 to £500.

However, it does NOT cover negligent damage, and there may be a charge to your security bond for the following:

CDW Insurance is completely optional and can be decided upon collection of your vehicle. However, after the Hire has commenced, CDW insurance cannot be taken out.
