The LandCruise Motorhome Hire online booking system is currently open to drivers wanting to travel in Britain and a selection of European destinations in 2025.
In 2025 LandCruise will have 50 motorhomes and campervans on its fleet. Each vehicle is allocated a day of the week for collection and return. You can now book online for blocks of 7 nights. Search results show the day you specify plus the day before and the day after. Last Minute Short Breaks are available to book online. Alternatively contact the Office for later in the year.
If you do not immediately find what you are looking for, try moving your preferred date a little bit forward or back.

Deposit required: £300 per 7 nights
Balance required: 6 weeks prior to departure
The hire rate quoted includes breakdown cover and excludes diesel and Adblue.
Security Bond A security bond for £1250 is taken as a pre-authorised transaction of a debit/credit card on departure. This increases to £1500 for European Travel or drivers with non UK/AU/NZ driving licences.
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) for standard insurance hires costs £19 per day (Minimum £95/Maximum £266). Further information can be found at: https://landcruise.uk.com/news/collision-damage-waiver/ CDW reduces the excess to £0 in the event of a collision. For the increased excess of £1500, CDW costs £23 per day (Minimum £161/Maximum £322)
£1 per mile charge above the mileage limit.
Driver Age: 25 to 75 (21 to 24 and £76 to £78 at an additional cost and excess).
Second driver insurance can be added at £10 per a day for GB Travel and £14 per day for European Travel or drivers with non UK/AU/NZ driving licences.
Insurance surcharge for points on licence ranging from £2.50 per day for SP30 to £12 per day for DR10.
On-site parking is available for one car at £5 per night. A second car can be parked for £10 per night. Car left at owner’s risk.

Our insurance company need to see the following documents for each driver before collecting the motorhome. All documents can be loaded directly onto the Customer Portal.
A copy of the driver’s driving licence
A code from the DVLA for each driver, to view your driving history. Please visit https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence. You will need your driving licence number and your National Insurance number. They will generate a code which we can use to view your licence details.
2 valid proofs of address that match your driving licence and are dated within the last 90 days from your date of collection and consist of the following:

Deposit and future balance payment are non-refundable.
Therefore we strongly recommend you take out your own Travel Insurance to cover you in the event of cancellation.
If you hire for an event and the event is cancelled or postponed, I am afraid we cannot offer a refund and we may not be able to transfer your hire to another date.
Bookings for travel to Europe can now be made through our online booking system with a minimum hire period of a week or more depending on your destination. One week minimum for the nearest destinations and three weeks minimum for the furthest away.
Countries we can currently take bookings for include Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden & Switzerland.

There is a higher excess for hires travelling to Europe and for International Visitors (except NZ/AU). The excess is £1500. For International drivers or travel to the EU, CDW costs £23 per night.
