Travelling with your dog

Motorhome holidays are a great opportunity for you to go away with your dog(s), but as with small children, you’ll need to remember to bring a few things to ensure that their time away is as comfortable and stress free as possible.

Doggy essentials

  • Food, bottled water, and treats
  • Their favourite toys/ball and plenty of poo bags!
  • Ground tether or stake (don’t forget your mallet)
  • Bed (take a plastic sheet if you have a fabric bed, to put underneath so it doesn’t get wet on the ground)
  • Safety harness (if you’d prefer to keep them secure in transit)
  • First Aid kit (copy of your dog’s veterinary records)
