CustomerTravel Blog

An image paints a thousand words

In the past we have set customers the task of writing a motorhome or campervan travel blog of their time whilst out on hire.

The aim was to inspire future hirers on where they can visit, which are the best campsites to stay at, what routes to take and any other practical experience our amateur pen-smiths were willing to bestow.

One customer, Darren Somerville decided to do something a little different.

Now I just want to make it clear that LandCruise didn’t ask him to do this. Darren decided to do this completely off his own bat, and it was just something that he wanted to put together to remember their family motorhome holiday and post on Facebook.

We saw this and liked it so much that we asked if he’d mind us sharing on our website.

So may we introduce to you, Somervilles Tour the UK.

The 1420 mile road trip included visits to...

  • Newcastle upon Tyne
  • Edinburgh
  • Stirling Castle
  • Fort William
  • Mallaig
  • Loch Ness
  • Urquhart Castle
  • Glasgow
  • Manchester
  • Oxford
  • Bicester Village
  • Rowlands Castle

Motorhome from home

The motorhome that Darren and his family hired from LandCruise was one of our brand new RollerTeam Zefiro 696’s.

It’s a 4 berth motorhome and has a spacious fixed island double bed at the rear, with a huge garage store beneath.
